Janmashtami is celebrated as a symbol of the end of darkness and rooting out of the evil forces. The main reason for celebrating this festival is bringing people together so that principles of unity strengthen. So to strengthen the unity from the childhood, Janmashtami celebration was done for Pre Toddlers.
They came dressed in ethnic wear as Radha and Krishna. The school campus was decorated beautifully and the spirit of festivity was seen and felt in the heart of each and every presented.
A splendid and colourful performance by the learners and educators depicting the birth of Lord Krishna with a message of victory of good over evil was presented. The presentation depicted the varied images of life from birth to manhood transporting one to the world of splendour, colour, myth and legend. Through the drama learners got to know about BAL LEELA. It was a beautiful presentation with joyous melody. Students truly communicated the message that "Every moment of life is worth a Celebration. The more you praise and celebrate life, the more there is in life to celebrate.”
A Matki phod event also took place in which the slogans of “Hathi Ghoda Palki, Jai Kanhaiya Lalki’ filled the air. An aarti was performed by the little toddlers with Principal and Vice Principal of the school. In the end, our students danced on the tunes of Garba. Everyone participated with great enthusiasm and radiance.. This celebration was a great success as it filled everyone’s hearts with joy, happiness and contentment. Celebrations like these teach our children, the rich mythological history of our country as they learn to respect and value all religions.
The day was a delightful divine journey for the learners. Educators instilled value of self-worth and introspection as they wished them HAPPY JANMASHTAMI. The day ended with Principal and Vice Principal’s warm wishes that May Lord Krishna shower His blessings on all and free the world from all the evils.
This celebration brought devotion, recreation, entertainment and fun all together.
