Celebrating Makar Sankranti in Gajera International School is a delightful way to introduce young children to cultural festivities. The little Gajerian celebrated Pre Makar Sankranti festival on 13th January, 2024 Saturday with great enthusiasm and gaiety.
Festivals have always been a time of togetherness, where we come together to enjoy the festive spirit. On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, the Gajerians performed a myriad of activities. Learner’s came in different state attire like Tamil, Punjab, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Assam. Educators gave understanding about all states and their celebration.

The significance of Cultural and Charity during this festival is deeply rooted in the belief of sharing joy and abundance with those in need. Learners are visited to the temple for worshiping god, feed cow, donate food. Educators gave the importance that to buy Indian Products and do not use the Chinese Thread and Kites. They learn the importance of compassion, empathy, and the joy of giving.
Learners performed drama and gave understanding about how to save birds and stay safe during celebration.
