"Gajera Vidyabhavan's Noble Gesture: A Blood Donation Camp to Save Lives"
In a remarkable display of compassion and community service, Gajera Vidyabhavan Katargam managed by Smt Shantaben Haribhai Gajera Charitable Trust took a significant step towards contributing to the well-being of society by organizing a blood donation camp on January 25, 2024. This noble initiative aimed to address the persistent need for blood and emphasized the importance of collective responsibility towards the health and safety of our fellow citizens.
The blood donation camp served as a testament to the school’s commitment to instilling values of empathy, altruism, and social responsibility in its students. Beyond the academic curriculum, Gajera Vidyabhavan recognizes the importance of nurturing individuals who actively contribute to the betterment of the community.
The success of the blood donation camp was evident in the overwhelming presence of Chief Guests Dr. Bhagirathi Parmar,Dr. Prafulbhai Shiroya and Shri Haribhai Kathiriya along with our trustee Bakulbhai Gajera, Directors and Principals. Huge contribution from Laxmi Diamond Staff, Parents, Educators and other members who eagerly participated in the event. The enthusiasm displayed reflected a genuine desire to make a positive impact and save lives through the simple yet powerful act of blood donation.
In light of the ongoing global health challenges, Gajera Vidyabhavan ensured that the blood donation camp adhered to strict health and safety protocols. The event was meticulously organized with measures in place to prioritize the well-being of both donors and volunteers, including temperature checks, sanitization stations, and social distancing measures.
Gajera Trust is serving community and taking initiative for this noble cause twice in a year from last 30 years under the guidance of trustee Shri Chunibhai Gajera.
The success of the blood donation camp was not just limited to the school community but extended to the local community as well. Collaborating with Lok Samarpan blood donation centre, Gajera Vidyabhavan facilitated a seamless process for the collection, testing, and storage of donated blood.
