PARENT ORIENTATION PROGRAM – A STEP TOWARDS STRONGER COLLABORATION
Gajera International School hosted a Parent Orientation Program for Grades 6, 7, and 8 on Monday 10th February 2025, to strengthen the partnership between parents and the school. The session aimed to guide parents on how to best support their child’s learning journey.
The event began with a prayer and a tilak ceremony, symbolizing a warm welcome for the parents. After the registration process, the orientation commenced with an insightful counselling session led by Principal Dr. Anupama Bhati and Academic Director Mr. Jayesh Patel. They emphasized new educational ventures, innovative teaching methodologies, and the importance of parental involvement in a child’s academic and personal growth.
The session also provided a comprehensive overview of the school’s facilities, including smart classrooms, extracurricular activities and student support services. Parents were introduced to the school trust, trustees, principal, faculty and staff, fostering a sense of community and transparency. The school’s app, newsletter, and social media handles were also highlighted as essential tools for keeping parents updated on school events and academic progress.
The program concluded with a parent review session, where attendees shared their valuable suggestions and appreciation for the school’s efforts. The interaction reinforced the importance of a collaborative approach in education, ensuring a holistic learning experience for students.
The event successfully laid the foundation for an engaging and supportive academic year, with parents and educators working together towards the common goal of nurturing young minds.
