CASE STUDY COMPETITION

Case study offers a way to bring a subject to life, and purposeful use of it in the classroom creates potential for active learning. Case Study Competition was conducted at GISK for the learners of grade VI to IX to improve their critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are essential and relevant for employability and academic success. The competition also aimed to enhance learners’ presentation and communication skills, with participants showcasing their knowledge and creativity through catchy, informative and colorful PPTs. There was an array of presentations encompassing the topics- Reduce Plastic Use, Climate Change, Artificial Intelligence, Automobiles, Trading, Unemployment, Mobile Mania and Maha Kumbh Mela. PowerPoint tools, colour scheme, background effects and presentation skills of the participants made the event a resounding success. The presentations were judged based on the criteria including content delivery, body language, questionnaire and presentation. The judges were highly impressed with the mesmerizing performance of the participants and congratulated the winners.
To conclude, the competition created a positive environment amongst the young learners wherein they were high on spirits and enthusiasm, that urged them to showcase their ingenuity to their optimum level. It was really a remarkable show of talent and a great learning experience for everyone.
