Celebrating Hindi Divas at Gajera International School, Katargam

Hindi, the soul of our nation, holds a special place in our hearts. Every year, on the 14th of September, we celebrate Hindi Divas to commemorate the significance of our national language. As part of this nationwide movement, Gajera International School Katargam once again organized a celebration of Hindi Divas. On this occasion, learners were not only introduced to the importance of “Doha Pathan” but were also enlightened about various renowned poets and great writers.

Hindi Divas is not just another day on the calendar; it is a day of reflection, reverence, and rediscovery of the beauty and richness of our Hindi language. It’s a day when we come together to pay tribute to the language that unites us as Indians and transcends regional boundaries.

At Gajera International School, the Hindi Divas celebration was a memorable event filled with activities that emphasized the significance of our language. The focus of the event was on “Doha Pathan,” which refers to the recitation and understanding of the profound couplets written by the famous saint-poet, Sant Kabir. These Dohas are not just poetic verses; they are timeless pieces of wisdom that offer valuable life lessons.

The learners were encouraged to recite and reflect upon these Dohas, delving into their deeper meanings and relevance in today’s world. This exercise aimed to instill a sense of cultural and moral values in our young learners.

Furthermore, the educators at Gajera International School took this opportunity to introduce the learners to the vast treasure trove of Hindi literature. They shared insights about various legendary poets and great writers who have contributed significantly to the world of Hindi literature. From Munshi Premchand’s heart-touching stories to Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s soul-stirring poetry, learners were exposed to the diverse and rich literary heritage of our language.

Hindi Divas serves as a reminder of our commitment to preserving and promoting our national language. It encourages us to explore the literary gems and cultural heritage that Hindi has to offer. Gajera International School’s celebration of Hindi Divas was a resounding success, fostering a deeper appreciation for Hindi among its learners and reinforcing the importance of preserving our linguistic and cultural heritage.

As we conclude this celebration, let us remember that Hindi is not just a language; it is our identity, our heritage, and a source of immense pride. Let us continue to cherish and promote our beautiful Hindi language, ensuring that its legacy continues to shine brightly in the years to come.
