Educational Excursion for Empowering Young Minds at Gujarat Global Expo 2024
Our learners had the unique opportunity to participate in the Gujarat Global Expo 2024 on 19th December 2024, a mega exhibition held in Surat, Gujarat. Organized by the Parichit Foundation under the guidance of Shri Mukeshkumar Chandrakant Dalal, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), the event was themed around “Amritkaal,” emphasizing self-reliance and India’s aspirations for its centenary.
The expo was an extraordinary platform that showcased advancements across various fields, including science and technology, biotechnology, healthcare, rural innovations, disaster management, and education. Our learners explored the latest innovations and gained insights into India’s ongoing developmental journey. Esteemed organizations such as DRDO, ISRO, the Department of Atomic Energy, and the Geological Survey of India made the event truly enriching.
Key highlights of the event included:
- Lectures by renowned scientists from DRDO and ISRO, which inspired the learners to dream big and aim higher.
- Participation in interactive and engaging quiz competitions that tested and enhanced their knowledge.
- Free health camps tailored for learners to promote well-being and health awareness.
- Opportunities to interact with influential policymakers, including ministers and members of parliament.
Awareness sessions focusing on skill development, employment opportunities, and training programs, helping learners understand the pathways to becoming future-ready professionals.
Learners were also introduced to various government schemes and policies designed to promote advancements in areas like medical research, water conservation, tourism, and entrepreneurship. Through this, they learned about how technology and innovation can be harnessed to build a sustainable future.
The event also fostered a deeper understanding of India’s focus on environmental conservation, intellectual property, and strengthening human resources. The live displays and demonstrations provided hands-on learning, making it a memorable and impactful experience.
