INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2025 – A CELEBRATION OF LEADERSHIP AT GAJERA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2025 – A CELEBRATION OF LEADERSHIP AT GAJERA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

The spirit of leadership and responsibility came alive on 5th July 2025 as Gajera International School, Katargam, hosted its grand Investiture Ceremony. The event marked a pivotal moment for the newly elected Student Council, who stepped into their roles with pride, purpose, and a promise to lead with integrity.

The ceremony was graced by esteemed guests including Bijalben R. Chaudhary (Police Constable, Salabatpura Police Station), Dinal Vithani (South Asian Basketball Champion), and Nayanaben Acharya (Child Welfare Officer, SHE Team), along with Director Mrs. Gulab Vasani, colleague principals, academic leaders, and proud parents of the student council members. Their inspiring presence added warmth and significance to the celebration.

The event began with a traditional tilak to welcome the guests, followed by the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony, symbolising the light of knowledge and wisdom. A vibrant march past led by the newly elected leaders set the tone for the day, showcasing discipline, coordination, and unity. The oath-taking ceremony was a defining moment as the Head Boy, Head Girl, and council members pledged their commitment to uphold the school’s values. This was followed by the dignified badge ceremony, where each leader received their badge of responsibility and honour.

The backstage energy was seamlessly managed by enthusiastic learners monitored by our educators who ensured smooth coordination of every segment—be it welcoming guests, presenting batches, or assisting with ceremonial arrangements.

Leadership is not about holding a position—it’s about making a difference. The newly elected council is expected to be the voice of their peers, the bridge between learners and educators, and role models in thought and action. The journey ahead calls for responsibility, courage, and a vision for collective growth.

Through this democratic process—from nominations, presentations, interviews to elections—our learners experienced real-world leadership. They learned to express ideas, accept outcomes with grace, and respect the values of integrity, accountability, and teamwork.

Guided by Principal Dr. Anupama Bhati, the ceremony echoed her words: “True leadership begins when you choose to think beyond yourself, ask without fear, and rise with purpose.”

Let this Student Council be a living example of our school’s spirit—Think. Ask. Rise.

THANK YOU
