On 11th August 2025, our school’s auditorium echoed with passion, pride, and patriotism as learners from Grades 6 to 10 participated in the Unsung Freedom Fighter Struggle Competition. The event aimed to shine a spotlight on the lesser-known heroes of India’s freedom struggle – the brave souls whose sacrifices shaped our destiny but whose names are often missing from mainstream history.
Participants, dressed in vibrant tricolour-themed attire, brought history alive through impactful PowerPoint presentations. Many even stepped into the shoes of their chosen leaders, portraying personalities such as Matangini Hazra, Alluri Sitarama Raju, Velu Nachiyar, and Peer Ali Khan, adding a powerful visual dimension to their storytelling.
The enthusiasm was palpable. Each group displayed thorough research, creativity, and a deep sense of respect for their subjects. As they spoke, it felt as though the walls themselves reverberated with the courage of the past. Our distinguished judges commended the clarity, confidence, and commitment shown by the participants.
The finale reached a stirring climax with our respected Principal Dr .Anupama Bhati Madam leading the audience in chanting inspirational patriotic slogans. Her words served as a reminder that freedom is not just a gift but a responsibility – one that we must honour through unity, hard work, and service to the nation.
The event concluded on a high note, leaving every participant and spectator inspired to carry forward the legacy of India’s unsung heroes.
Jai Hind!
