Vasant Panchami

Vasant Panchami is a joyful festival celebrated in India to welcome the spring season and honour the goddess Saraswati. In Gajera International school we introduced children to the essence of this festival through fun and educational activities that promote creativity, learning, and cultural understanding. Vasant Panchami is also celebrated as the birthday of Goddess Saraswati who symbolises knowledge, wisdom, purity and truth.

Educators and Vice Principal narrate the story of Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, music, arts, and wisdom in the simple language and shown colorful illustrations to captivate their imagination and help the learners to understand the importance of Saraswati Puja.

Learners performed a simple Saraswati Vandana (prayer) dance and express their joy through movement and rhythm.

Vasant Panchami is a time to celebrate the beauty of nature, the power of knowledge, and the joy of learning. Through these engaging activities, pre-schoolers can not only have fun but also gain valuable insights into the rich cultural heritage of India and the significance of Saraswati Puja in our lives.
