Farmers are the ones who put their Heart and Soul into the Soil to give it Life and to give us Food. This day is dedicated to all the farmers of India to increase their enthusiasm and also to generate respect for them in the citizens of the country. It also pays tribute to the men, women, and families who put food in the grocery stores and on our tables every day. The celebration aimed to create awareness among children about farmers for a healthier life and to motivate them to do farming.
Considering Gajera International School, Pre-Primary celebrated National Farmer’s Day to create awareness among tiny learners on the importance of farmers and farming for a healthy and prosperous nation. Village is a place far away from the pollution and noise of the city were explained by the educators by displaying village kind of set up, wherein learners were dressed up in the farmer costumes. Day to day lives of farmers were shown, starting with hut, ladies cooking food on Chula ,Animals eating their fodder in paddock, Farming with different tools, Journey from wheat to bread, Types of food items made up of wheat and set up of Sarpanch were beautifully portrayed by the learners. Through these set up learners were inculcated the values that villages are the soul of the country and also taught them that how farmers are the backbone of our country. The students showed enthusiasm and enjoyed the day with great fun.
Thus the day was celebrated with great enthusiasm to praise the farmers as they are the spine of India. So let us thank them for their Effort and Salute them for their Hard Work
